Will my jewelry tarnish?
All fine metals tarnish with time. I recommend storing your jewelry at least in a dry area (not your bathroom) but best would be in a small ziplock bag. Your pieces are easy to clean. If you wish to polish your pieces we recommend using warm sudsy water and buffing with a scratch free cloth. Removing jewelry before any strenuous activity is recommended to protect the stone, finish and patina.
Will my skin react to your pieces?
This depends on your body’s chemistry. Sterling silver is a high-quality metal that will not cause irritation unless you have a metal allergy.
What makes your honey different from grocery store honey?
Our honey is raw, minimally filtered, and never heat-pasteurized. This helps preserve the natural pollen, enzymes, and nutrients that give honey its flavor and character. Because it’s harvested locally, each batch reflects the unique flowers and trees our bees forage on.
Where are your bees located and what do they forage on?
Our bees are located in a Lake Effect area of the Finger Lakes region of New York and forage on a variety of seasonal wildflowers, trees, and native plants. This diverse forage creates the rich, complex flavor profile found in our honey.
Why does raw honey crystallize or look cloudy?
Crystallization is a completely natural process and a sign that your honey is raw and unprocessed. It does not mean the honey has gone bad. To return it to liquid form by gently warming it in place the jar in warm (not boiling) water until it re-liquidifies.
What types of honey products do you offer?
In addition to pure raw honey, we offer seasonal infusions, small-batch specialty blends, and handcrafted products made with ingredients from our hives such as beeswax and propolis.
Can local honey help with seasonal allergies?
Some people enjoy local honey as part of their seasonal wellness routine because it contains small amounts of regional pollen. While results vary from person to person, many customers report relief from their allergies using local honey.
How should I store my honey?
Store honey in a sealed container at room temperature in a cool, dry place. There is no need to refrigerate honey. Properly stored honey does not go bad or expire.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes, we offer wholesale options for businesses, events, and large orders. Please contact us directly for pricing and availability.
Can I purchase your honey in person?
Depending on the season, you may be able to find us at local markets, events, or select retail locations. Follow us online or reach out to learn where we’ll be next.
Do you follow organic or natural beekeeping practices?
We prioritize responsible beekeeping practices that support healthy bees and sustainable hive management. Our focus is on maintaining strong colonies and producing high-quality honey with minimal intervention. We manage our hives only using organic treatments.
What are some ways to use your honey?
Our honey is delicious in tea or coffee, drizzled over yogurt or oatmeal, paired with cheese, used in baking, or as a natural sweetener in dressings and marinades. It’s a versatile pantry staple.
